In this video I’m showing you a snack that I’ve NEVER made before but came out so delicious! It only took me 10 minutes and is filled with healthy goodness. Making your own snacks is a great part of meal prepping and knowing what’s going into your food.
DIY Hail Merry Caramel Sea Salt Bites Ingredients:
1 cup of Almond Flour
1/2 cup of Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
1/4 cup of Coconut Sugar
2 tablespoons of Maple Syrup
2 tablespoons of Virgin Coconut Oil
Dash or two of Vanilla
*I made 12 with this but you can probably get 15 if you don’t eat as you go like I do
Feel free to go off these ingredients directly or tweak it to something new!Take away the coconut sugar for a vanilla treat that you can add organic chocolate chips to or add cacao to make it nice and chocolatey.
I mention a couple times “dehydrating” the bites. The back of the bag says that they are dehydrated but 1. I don’t have a dehydrator and 2. doing it in your oven or toaster oven at home would still take hours and I didn’t want to leave the oven on for that long during the heat wave but if you do have a dehydrator, give that a go and let me know how they turn out!
