Something new new hitting the shelf’s of heaven (aka @erewhonmarket)! @eatmezcla is a vegan and gluten-free bar with 10 grams of plant-based protein and is SO good. I took them with me as snacks to work at the Golden Globes this weekend and in next week’s “what I eat in a weekend at work” video you’ll see how they SAVED me! This one was their peanut butter flavor which I actually enjoyed considering that almond butter has my heart and makes peanut butter taste weird to me. They aren’t keto but if you’re not doing keto or you want a cheat day snack, run to Erewhon and pick some up! (Matcha Vanilla was my fave btw) 🌿
Last week I signed up for @timsenesiyoga’s Conscious Movement Community and the series following his last 30-day challenge has been great! Yesterday’s practice was focused on strength and long stretches which felt great however, now watching these videos back, I see where I can improve even more and focus on my posture and letting go of any tension. Growing up with scoliosis, my back is pretty rigid in what it wants to do but by slowing down and focusing, I know I will be able to improve my posture, strength, and mobility. My upper back is always tight so I’m really focusing on mobility in that area as well as reducing my anterior pelvic tilt that I’ve developed to compensate for my upper back. I’m going to film myself more to see where I can improve and watch the changes over time! I may have to take a few steps back to correct myself but it will make taking steps forward even better 🌿
Good people make the world go round. Can you think of a stranger that you’re super thankful for lately? ☺️
