Did you know that stress lowers your immune system? I’m moving in TWO WEEKS and while I’m SO excited to have a bigger space (and an actual office desk), just thinking about the move is giving me more white hairs. To give my immune system a boost, I’ve been using the @piquetea immune support at least once a day! Elderberry is the prominent flavor so it tastes good while it does good 🌿
A @bewellbykelly fab-four smoothie! I was inspired by her post of a PB&J smoothie and thought I’d make a similar one with some strawberries I had 🍓
Last night Austin and I went to IKEA (his first time EVER which is weird, has he ever been to Earth before??) and the restaurant was open so I made him eat the meatballs. Turns out they have wheat so I got the plant balls which were quite delicious. We also got sides of salad, lox, and veggies! After our IKEA adventure, we stopped by Whole Foods so I can get some groceries (going to miss being near the beautiful Burbank @wholefoods) and since we were already on the lox train we got some more to have a little meal after. We warmed @outeraislegourmet cauliflower thins in my toaster oven, added @miyokoscreamery cultured vegan cream cheese (great ingredients list and I’m happy Austin is finally coming around to limiting dairy consumption), topped it with lox and avocado, and sprinkled on salt, pepper, dill, and I added a tad of cayenne on mine! They were SO good and made a nice healthy snack.
I feel like my feed of food has gotten a bit boring lately but honestly I’ve just been doing versions of egg and avocado as my first meal of the day and having a Factor meal or something with Austin later on. 🍳 It’s mostly because I split my time between our apartments and I don’t want to get a ton of food that may go bad since that’s super wasteful! I’ve also felt a bit uninspired lately to make some new fun dinner just for myself (leave me your fave dinner ideas below). Both are big reasons that I am super excited to move at the end of April 🏡 Austin also loves to cook and we often do dinners together where we each make something (he mostly handles the protein and I’ll do some sides) so I can’t wait to do that on a more regular basis and get back to meal prepping too! Here is a simple avocado toast using @uprising_superfoods keto bread 🌿
